Handyman with a large Van looking to work doing, carpentry, plumbing, painting, gardening, removals *

Who ? My name is Graham and I’m looking to put me and my van to some good use helping in a variety of ways while I get my design business up and running. I’m extremely practical and have gained tons of experience while renovating the homes I’ve lived in. I’m friendly and competent. Here are a few projects that have given me experience and honed my skills. Designed and build a purpose built studio complete with a tiled, pitched insulated roof, electrics and running water. I designed, made and then fitted my kitchen. Designed and installed a rain water collection/toilet-flushing system. Converted a wood-burning stove to run my central heating. Boarded out my loft to allow for extra storage space and also raised it to allow for extra insulation. Fitted new soffit and facia and changed the guttering. Redecorated throughout, laying hardwood floors, tiling floors and walls, lining papering, painting etc etc. Designed and made a lean-to greenhouse. Kept my cars on the road with repairs ranging from a rebuilt engine down to putting air in the tyres and changing the oil. I can mig weld, which has come in very handy over the years, as I like old classic cars. Garden maintenance. I’ve got all the kit to, cut hedges, mow lawns, fell small trees (I hold a chainsaw licence), chop firewood, dig holes, clear and tidy overgrown gardens. Carpentry. I can perform a range of general carpentry tasks like hanging doors, repairing windows, putting up shelves, assembling and fitting kitchen units, laying hardwood flooring and laminate, reroofing sheds and outbuildings, fixing and repairing wooden items. General I’m able to help with planning projects, laying patios, putting up sheds/gazebos, driving mini diggers, digging foundations, laying concrete, building walls, putting up fences and trellises, welding, painting and decorating, dog walking, clearing and fixing guttering, tiling. The Van My van is larger than a transit but smaller than a luton. It’s exempt from the low emission zone charges so means that I can offer good day rates working into or around London.
